Goodbye Miss Cruse and Happy Holidays!

Miss Cruse came in to say goodbye this week. She has been away from school very sick this week. Thank you for helping us.

Happy holidays everyone - see you next term.

Rainbow Garden

Mrs Millar and the Room AB children have planted a rainbow garden outside our classrooms. We are looking forward to watching the fruit and veges grow.

Duck in our Cloakroom

Today we had a strange visitor in the Room A cloak room - a duck. It was very frightened but Mrs Phillips managed to get it outside.

Make your own lunch... Box!

Today we designed our own lunch boxes. We had to think about what sort of food we brought for lunch and make little compartments or ways of storing different types of food.

Woodwork Shakers

Mrs Moylan is helping us make a musical shaker at the outside woodwork table. Abbie, Alesia and Hugo made theirs today.

Skipping - Lots of Skipping!

Today we had our big jump off out on the back field. We worked with our big Room F buddies and tried lots of different skipping activities including long ropes and partner jumping. It was tiring work!

PJ Breakfast at School!

Today was Fun Day. As part of our Healthy Eating Topic work we enjoyed breakfast at school in our PJ's. Even the teachers wore their PJ's. We had a choice of waffles, maple syrup, fruit, yoghurt and toast. It was yummy and we ate heaps!!!

Spring Walk

This week we went for a walk around school looking for signs of Spring. We found blossom and daffodils. In the Discovery Room we are making a mural of Spring things. Come and have a look!

Life Education -Part 2

Today we had our second Life Education visit. We were invited to Jacko's party and learned about eating a variety of foods.

We really enjoyed visiting Harold. Thanks Life Education Trust.

Decorating Crown Cupcakes.

On Tuesday we were very fortunate to have Mrs Hosking come from The Make Cafe to make Crown Cupcakes with us.

We each got our own special set of equipment.

Then we selected 'jam' or 'buttercream' to stick the special lid on with.

We had to put the lid on carefully so we didn't break it.

After that we used special icing glue to stick on the decorations.

It was a good activity for practising our fine motor skills.

Wow! What great cake decorators we have in Room A and B!
