Today we went for a pattern walk - looking for different patterns around the school.

Book Week

The children in Room A and B have enjoyed lots of different book activities this week. Here are some highlights...

Having stories read to us by different ACS staff.

Maths activities bases around a bear theme... We did lots of sequencing and sorting.

We really enjoyed having a Teddy Bear Picnic with our buddy classes.

It was fun to see all the different types of teddy bears.

Book Week Explore Time

This week is Book Week and Room A and B are focusing on books about Bears. During Explore Time we have lots of bear activities to choose from.

Caleb and Oakley are doing some threading around a bear shape. It is a bit like weaving, which we are doing in Art this term.

We also made bear masks...

It's great to have so many parents stay and help us.

We are really enjoying the special bear cave.

Some children are having a teddy bear picnic.

The best part of Explore Time was baking with Mrs Phillips.
