A Special Banquet Lunch

Today was our special banquet lunch to celebrate the end of our learning about Castles. We came dressed as Princess, Princes and Knights. For lunch we wore the special crowns we made in Visual Art with Mrs Renner. The tables were made pretty and laden with food. Mrs Renner, Mrs Millar and Mrs Phillips were the servants. Room A and B children loved being the important castle people. Thank you to all the Mums and Grandmothers who helped!

Clever Writers

We are learning our basic words. Tiffany wrote some words in Chinese. We also wrote our words in English.

Fun Day - Outside Games

Today was Primary Fun Day which rewards all those children who behave well in class and in the playground. We played three different outside games and we were in mixed groups across the primary classes. We liked working with the big children.  It was lots of fun but very tiring!

Cheng-Han Treats

Today the Room A got some treats from Cheng-Han to say goodbye. Thank you Cheng-Han!

Castle Servants

Yesterday we learnt about castle servants. Mrs Phillips was hoping Room A and B would like to be her servants and make her bed and her breakfast! We made bread - it was yummy.

Cricket

On Monday some special teachers came to give us a taste of cricket. We learned to catch a ball then played an adapted game of cricket. 

Lots of us thought we might like to play cricket this summer!!

Reading With Jeremy

Today some of the Room B children read their reading books to Jeremy. We are helping Jeremy with his talking and Jeremy helps us with our reading. Thanks Jeremy!

Goodbye Cheng-Han

Today we said goodbye to Cheng-Han. He has been at our school for 4 weeks to learn English. We will miss him. Cheng-Han is going home to Taiwan.

Room A Preschool Visit

This afternoon the preschool children walked over to Cornerstone Preschool. We read our books and shared our Hickory Dickory Dock poem.Then we enjoyed playing together. In two weeks some of the preschool will come back to visit us during big Explore Time.

God's Armor

This week we have started talking about how God gives us special armor to help us as Christians. Yesterday we drew around Caleb and decorated him. Today we added the helmet of salvation. This helps us to remember to protect our heads and minds. We can be brave like Esther because we have God's armor to help us.

Welcome to Room A

Last week Zoey and Annabelle officially started school. They got certificates in Primary Chapel. Welcome to Room AB girls!

Strike percussion

On Tuesday Rooms A and B went to a percussion performance by the group 'Strike' in the morning. Then in the afternoon we had a percussion lesson. See how much fun we had!
